We remember the communities where we grew up and the people who shaped us. For our first pilot project, we chose Secondary School No. 72 in Khailaast, where we support teachers working with young students. Several GNM members grew up in ger districts, making this work especially meaningful to us.
Supporting inclusion
We want parents and children with disabilities, and others who need additional support, to feel included. GNM member Enkh-Amgalan brings extensive experience to initiatives at Secondary School No. 25.
Making connections
At School No. 72, our pilot project supports students in grades 6–8 and above by listening to their needs and connecting them with people and opportunities beyond their immediate community. The initial focus in 2025 was climate change education and awareness. Young people in ger districts experience harsh winters, air pollution, water scarcity, and changing weather patterns. The project helps students understand these challenges and consider ways to act in their communities.
Working with School No. 25
We support inclusion for children who need additional care or attention. Alongside resources, we aim to strengthen connections among students, parents, and teachers so that the school community can support one another.
