Who We Are
Nyamsuren (Nyamka) - Director of the Global Nomads. Nyamka is a graduate of the Australian Command and Staff College and holds Master’s degrees from the Australian National University as well as the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. She is a retired colonel with wide-ranging experience of serving for various posts at the Ministry of Defense, for UN peacekeeping missions, and for developing the English language training programs in the military.
Ariunbold (Ariuka)- Founding Member of the Global Nomads. Ariuka is a native of Western region, experienced sociologist, and keen observer of socio-economic dynamics of Mongolia. Ariuka has travelled extensively across Mongolia. He received his BA and MA in political science from the National University of Mongolia.
Altanzaya (Altaa)- Founding Member of the Global Nomads. Altaa is a professor of the Mongolian National University of Education. He graduated from the Mongolian National University of Education and obtained his doctoral degree (PhD) in history from the Mongolian Academy of Sciences. Altaa has devoted his career to teaching history and studying Mongolia’s religious history.
Enkh-Amgalan (Amgaa) Founding Member of the Global Nomads. Amgaa is a teacher at Secondary School No. 25 - the country’s leading school for the education of children with special needs. Amgaa is an experienced teacher with a 30 year career working with children with special needs. She dreams of developing and running extra-curricular programs for parents with children with autism. Soyolgerel (Soyoloo)- a political scientist with rich experience working with research issues related to the Korean Peninsula and Central Asia. She received her BA and MA in political science from the National University of Mongolia. Soyoloo studied in Turkey, South Korea, and the United States.
Sainbuyan (Sainaa) - a resident in Canada, received her MA in political science from the University of Waterloo, Canada. She worked at the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and the Korean International Foundation for International Exchange.
